Have you seen the BBC version of Louis Armstrong’s classic ‘What a Wonderful World’ read by Sir David Attenborough?

Given the stressful time that many of us are enduring through the Coronavirus, (COVID19), I have been touched by the many acts of kindness around the world, which has restored my faith in the human race. To witness otherwise fragmented communities coalesce and for many, to endure a period of slowness which was all but forgotten by us all.

Which is why, I felt that I wanted to bring a ray of light to everyone, to give you something to dream about, when this comes to pass, as it will, sooner than later. From the words of the magnificent Louis Armstrong, read so eloquently by our greatest naturalist and ambassador, Sir David Attenborough.

I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them bloom for me and you

And I say to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
Bright sunny days, dark sacred nights
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow are so pretty in the skies
Are also on the faces of the people walking by
I see friends shaking hands saying
How do you do?
They're really saying I love you

I see babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
