Private Safari Guides and Dedicated Photographic Safaris

31-botswana-1-1 photographic safaris.jpg

For one to one safari guiding and personal photographic tuition we have the best guides in Botswana to personally guide you throughout your safari from beginning to end – whether you are staying at a series of safari lodges or traditional camps or on a private mobile camping safari. We also have a handful of pilot guides, who will both fly you and guide you at the same time!

With professional photographers to accompany and advise on how to take that perfect photograph, your safari will take on a new dimension. Not only will you learn about the animals but also learn how to capture the moment so that you have digital memories to take home with you.

Learn to capture the light through a dust filled sunset as the elephants come down to drink from a river or waterhole, and also capture the smaller species that make up the natural world.

A private guide will get to know you well and throughout your safari will be able to focus and concentrate on the things that really interest you the most – birds, big game, tracking, trees and plants, perhaps the culture or even dung beetles!

There are also guides that are also excellent with communicating with children and they will awaken their senses. Spend your days tracking big game, identifying birds and animals and the signs they leave around us, and learning to understand and respect all the inhabitants of the environment.

Your explorations through your safari days may be walking over open plains or on the Okavango’s palm filled islands searching the canopies of the African ebony and the mangosteen for sign of the Pel’s fishing owl or gliding through the reeds and miscanthus grass across a myriad of waterways, feathery beds of papyrus, and animal species, large and small, are waiting to be discovered from your mokoro (canoes).

The guides learn to ‘read’ the wildlife and can often predict how and when and where an animal is likely to move or react and this in turn will mean that you will be in the best positions to take that all important exclusive shot. Patience is also needed and of course you can relax while you wait – you will be surprised at just how much you will notice by just taking your time.

The guides in Botswana will awaken your senses and provide you with a unique perspective when typically on a walking safari by introducing the area's natural wonders and beauty to you. You use all your senses, see an abundance and variety of animals and get exercise at the same time – it’s a perfect combination!
