Conde Nast Traveler: 2016 Readers' Africa Awards

Kenya Tanz - Migration - ballooning - med.jpg

One cannot ignore this list as it represents a resounding vote from the core readership of Conde Nast Traveler – which in the main, is a section of people who are extremely well traveled and have enquiring minds!

We are offering two extraordinary safaris which take in the very best safari properties in Africa and these are featured in the Conde Nast Traveler: Readers' Choice Awards 2016

The first is Kenya and Tanzania – where the finest concentrations of wildlife can be found and of course, the wildebeest migration, where 2 million animals cross the Mara River and then flood the Serengeti plains where they come to calve. This is Africa’s greatest wildlife phenomenon.

The second is to Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Botswana taking in the Laikipia region and the Masai Mara in Kenya, the Serengeti in Tanzania, Livingstone (the Victoria Falls) in Zambia and the Okavango Delta Botswana. This is truly ‘the Ultra Safari’.

We have taken the top properties in Kenya – Segera (which scored 98.57), Richard’s Camp (which scored 99.05) and Grumeti Serengeti Camp (which scored 96.38) and compiled a fabulous safari to Kenya and Tanzania which incorporates these gems.

Then, if you have the time to extend, we recommend continuing and experiencing Livingstone where you stay at the gorgeous Royal Chundu Lodge (97.8) and the Okavango Delta at the eponymous Mombo Camp (95.15).

This safari is one of a kind as it embraces the very best parts of Africa – cherry picked just for you. Nothing can compare to the infinite savannah plains of the Mara-Serengeti eco system, where this mass of ungulates converges in the Masai Mara from July through to September and then onto the Serengeti plains from December through to March. Having said that, wildlife viewing in these two regions is always of top notch quality.

What Do Our Clients Say?

‘Greetings. this has turned out to be a paradise in so many ways....so a big thank you from us.

Wonderful support from your company over here....we were met at the airport (with flowers!!!!!) and introduced to our personal guide who is fabulous. Can't get over the attention to detail ....cool flannels, chilled water, fresh juice on arrival, bag full of thoughtful goodies for our trip, wonderful rooms with bathrooms bigger than our bedroom at home(!) and we were upgraded to a suite and as I write we are listening to tropical birdsong as we look out over the lagoon from our balcony. Wow!!!!!

I could go on but I'll spare you.

Thanks a million

Judy and Mike’
