A Private Jet journey discovering India's architectural wonders & underwater treasures of the Maldives

Imagine a place with a surreal landscape of impressive palaces, temples and ruins scattered amidst colossal boulders contrasted by lush pockets of paddy fields, banana plantations and palm groves, all merging into the gentle flow of the river skirting the ancient kingdom on one side; it is almost like a scene from a fantastical film!

Hampi is an open museum of architecture, history and culture unlike anywhere else on earth. This exclusive journey lets you discover some of India’s finest historical sites in style as you travel across the vast plains by an exclusive jet.

Besides Hampi, you will discover the majestic Mughal and colonial architecture of Delhi, admire the heavenly monument to love – the Taj Mahal and venture off-the-beaten-track into the rugged wilderness of Chambal Valley to discover its ancient history as well as rich birdlife.

You will then head across to the Maldives to relax on the powder soft white sandy beaches and enjoy thrilling underwater adventures in cerulean waters blessed with incredible biodiversity including an abundance of exotic corals and a rainbow spectrum of marine life.

Day 1:     Arrive in Delhi and relax at your hotel.

Enjoy a welcome dinner at one of the best fine-dining restaurants in Delhi.

Two nights at The Imperial on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

Day 2:     Spend the day with your private guide taking in the sights and sounds of the thriving capital. There are numerous locations to visit from the bustling ancient markets of Old Delhi to the iconic colonial buildings designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and fine art galleries in New Delhi. You will also visit an organisation that focuses on education and empowerment of underprivileged children and learn about their remarkable positive impact on the vulnerable communities.

Day 3:     Fly in a private jet to Agra where you will visit the stunning Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will then by driven (about 1.5 hours) to Chambal Safari Lodge, a gorgeous little family run homestay in the Chambal Valley. You will spend the next three nights here.

Days 4 & 5: Spend the next two days exploring this pristinely off-the-beaten-track region with your hosts. You will take boat rides on Chambal River looking for exotic birds, visit an ancient complex comprising of over 40 glistening white temples of varying periods and styles built on the riverbank, visit an ancient fort and meet with its erstwhile ruler who played an important role during the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and explore nearby quaint towns.

Day 6:     You will be driven back to Agra airport from where you will fly to Hampi by private jet. This ancient capital of the mighty Vijayanagar Empire attracted traders from Persia to as far away as Europe and was in its heyday one of the largest and wealthiest medieval towns in the world. Now all that remains are a plethora of sacred and royal complexes, countless temples, fading pillared halls and memorial edifices scattered across a stunning landscape.

Enjoy a unique glamping experience at The Ultimate Travelling Camp’s Kishkinda Camp for three nights on Full Board Basis.

Days 7 & 8:  Over the next two days, accompanied by the camp’s expert guide, explore the famous sights of Hampi and its surrounding countryside. Hampi is a substantial site (around 30 sq. km) and one could spend an entire week exploring its treasures however we recommend focusing on the key historical sites in the Sacred and Royal enclaves. Other options including birdwatching along the backwaters of Tungabhadra River, hiking and cycling in the farmlands and taking a safari in the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary.

Day 9:     Leave behind frenzied India and board your private jet to Male. You will have to make a stop in Cochin to complete the immigration and customs formalities before you fly out of India.

Spend the next four nights at COMO Cocoa Island, Huvafen Fushi or Soneva Fushi on Half Board Basis - three of our preferred resorts with access to the best diving and snorkelling areas in the region.

Your time in the Maldives is yours to do as much or as little as you like. You may opt to take a private traditional dhoni boat out to sea, enjoy a castaway picnic or a secluded sundowner. As one would expect there are a myriad of water activities to enjoy, one can snorkel or dive in the crystal clear waters heaving with incredible marine life or go fishing, kayaking and windsurfing. If you prefer to stay on land all the three properties have a wonderful spa in which to completely unwind.

Day 13:   It’s time to bid farewell to this little piece of heaven. You will be transferred back to the airport by private seaplane or speedboat (depending on location) in time to check-in for your flight home.
