You can dive the sparkling waters of the Maldives, then on return to the privacy of your very own luxury yacht, enjoy a yoga session on the upper deck followed by a spa treatment, before enjoying an incredible seafood barbeque under the stars on a deserted beach all prepared just for you by your private chef – life doesn’t get better than this.
A truly unique sailing experience in the Maldives, this classic sailing yacht was refitted in 2020 to accommodate just 1 couple or small family, in one gorgeous VIP Master Cabin. There is nothing to compare to ALEXA J sailing the Maldives presently, and at 38 m long, she provides all the facilities of a superyacht charter but with the added luxury of total privacy.
The yacht’s interiors combine Mulberry wood, with furnishings in white and muted natural tones, with carefully placed antique pieces, creating a bright, airy, contemporary romantic atmosphere. ALEXA J has a professional crew of 6, including a private star chef, dive instructor and spa therapist all dedicated to ensuring that your every needs are met.
The perfect honeymoon, or family holiday, ALEXA J’s 30 sqm luxury cabin complete with large windows providing breath-taking views and en-suite bathroom with walk-in wardrobe, can comfortably sleep 2 adults or a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
The yacht features a large living room with panoramic windows, an open-air lounge on the main deck perfect for both relaxing and dining al-fresco, below deck a playroom and home-theatre, and on the upper deck a space for sunbathing or practicing yoga along with a lounge perfect for stargazing.
What we love about ALEXA J
Designed specifically for two-person adventures, ALEXA J offers romance and privacy in the far-flung destinations she cruises. In addition, her captain and crew have an in-depth knowledge of these areas. Not only do they know of a number of secret coves and hidden spots, but they can introduce you to families in sleepy villages who will welcome you into their homes.

Where does ALEXA J sail?
Alexa J is the sister yacht of Indonesia’s Alexa. This classic sailing yacht delivers exclusive private sailing sojourns in the Mediterranean, the Maldives, Indonesia and the Andaman Sea, designed with just two guests in mind. She is currently based in the Maldives.
The superyacht may be chartered for 7, 14 or 21 day itineraries in the Maldives combined with stays at Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani. You'll sail to fairy-tale bays with crystal-clear water and golden rocky walls; picture-perfect small harbours; and uninhabited islands with only dolphins for company.
Journey through the BAA Atoll, often visited by schools of Manta Rays in the months of May to December, and enjoy the underwater sights with dive instructor, Nico and marine biologist, Hannah.
Visit the island of Goidhoo for the hike of a lifetime. You'll discover rare freshwater lakes and a tropical forest; or go snorkelling at the unique 'Rose Garden' coral formation.
Take your castaway experience to another level – enjoy a picnic lunch on a desert island prepared by your own Michelin personal chef.
Are children welcome on ALEXA J?
Yes absolutely. Below deck, you will find a fully equipped galley, a stylish playroom, which can be converted into sleeping quarters for 2 children.
We are ready to help you plan and book the perfect cruise, for every occasion, tailored just to suit you. Our professional team of experts are ready to share their secret spots in every destination with you, from the best dive spots away from the crowds, to stunning deserted tropical islands to explore, relax and dine under the stars.

When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
The Maldives is one of those rare destinations that is in season all year around. However, the most popular time, when the weather is dry and warm, is between November and April. Being a tropical paradise, the temperatures are consistently in the range of high 20 degrees and low 30 degrees Celsius.
For those seeking ideal sea conditions for diving and snorkelling, January to April is the best time. It is a fantastic destination for Christmas holidays. The manta season runs from May to December in the Baa Atoll.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour and catch the trade winds in your sails.
